We are committed to the well-being of our students and support their development with a daily selection of delicious and nutritious meal options. Nexalia Catering, the school's Catering Team, prepares and serves meals in our kitchen facilities. On-site catering is a rarity in Madrid-based schools.

At King's College Soto, by preparing school meals in our clean, well-managed kitchen facilities, and not relying on external meal providers, we can guarantee that our students will be given first-class meal options and snacks made with fresh, local ingredients of the highest possible quality. In doing so, we help students maintain their health, concentrate on their learning, and build positive relationships with food.

Nutritious, Well-Balanced Food Options Prepared at On-Site Kitchen

Our menus are designed in collaboration with the Nutrition and Quality department to ensure children receive a healthy and balanced diet while at school. Following the department's regulations, we use locally sourced fresh ingredients and adhere to the NAOS strategy guidelines (Nutrition, Physical Activity, and the Prevention of Obesity), as well as the principles outlined by the Health Minister and the Spanish Agency for Nutrition and Food Safety (AECOSAN).

Mealtimes provide a much-needed break during the school day, and the canteen offers an inviting space for socialising and relaxation. Additionally, for our youngest students, lunchtimes are a great way to learn about the benefits of a balanced diet. We aim to cater to a range of tastes and food preferences, providing fruits, vegetables, and snacks along with a selection of popular meals. Please inform the school if your child has any allergies or food intolerances.
